Fat Cavitation with Vaccume
Fat cavitation (also called ultrasonic cavitation) is a non-invasive body-contouring treatment that uses low-frequency ultrasound waves to target fat cells beneath the skin. It is marketed as a way to reduce localized fat deposits without surgery.

How it works
A handheld device is moved over the treatment area using ultrasound gel. The device emits low-frequency ultrasound waves that pass through the skin and into the fat layer.
The ultrasound is intended to:
- Create microscopic pressure changes within fat tissue.
- Disrupt the membranes of fat cells.
- Release the fat stored inside the cells (mainly triglycerides).
The body then processes the released fat:
- Triglycerides are broken down into glycerol and free fatty acids.
- These substances are transported through the lymphatic and circulatory systems.
- They are eventually used for energy or metabolized by the liver and excreted.
This process occurs gradually over several weeks.
What areas can be treated?
Fat cavitation is commonly used on:
- Abdomen
- Waist/flanks
- Thighs
- Buttocks
- Upper arms
It is generally not used on the face because of the different tissue structures and safety considerations.
What results can you expect?
The goal is body contouring, not weight loss.
Some people notice:
- Small reductions in body circumference.
- Slight improvement in body shape.
- Smoother appearance in some areas.
Multiple sessions are usually recommended, often 6–12 treatments spaced about a week apart.
Does it permanently remove fat?
If fat cells are sufficiently damaged, the body may remove them. However:
- Long-term results depend on maintaining a stable weight.
- The amount of fat reduction is usually modest.
- Remaining fat cells can still enlarge if you gain weight.
